Blech!

So I just finished reading the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia. What a piece of crap. Its hard to believe someone as smart as CS Lewis could come up with this. I know its supposed to be for kids but its just so bad. Nothing happens, nothing is explained, theres no history to Narnia and no sense of it being a real place. I say this as a die hard fan of Tolkein who was friends with Lewis. Man thats wierd. I don't know how these books got te reputation they did its all gobbledegook, no wonder I never finished them as a kid.
