There are advantages and disadvantages to getting DVR. The advantage is that you'll will never again have to see a bad TV show or really have to sit through commercials if you time things right. You can record every episode of your favorite show and watch them on your downtime. Its awesome. The disadvantage is that its totally addictive. You become so cought up in watching your engrossing TV shows that you don't want to do anything else like rent movies or read books or look for something new and interesting to do. With so much good TV on, whats the motivation to leave the house, or clean the house, or whatever. It's miracle of modern technology and a potential curse of monumental proportions.
Hey Shiela, I think you should buy a 30 pack of PBR when you go to texas and sit out by the pool drinking them and throwing the empty cans in the pool. When your family asks you why you keep doing that you simply reply..."This is Cali style."
