An Evening at the Ford

Was the Ford as bad as I thought it was going to be? Yes it was. The producer wanted a 20min seating hold, this was after the lot had sold out, diverting to the universal lot making people up to 40 mins late for the perfromance. The crowd was none too happy when they couldn't go to thier seats. I was shoved into a door by a 300 pound dude with a Russian accent. One of my 12 year olds was also shoved. It was a real civilized group of people. After the show started I had to fight with every person who got up to go to the bathroom because the producer didn't want people walking through the house during the performance. Why all these restrictions you ask? Because they are, against LA County law, and right under the theatre's nose, recording the performance for sale on DVD, without giving the County its cut of the money. SSSSHHHHH! Its a dirty little secret that the director doesn't want to acknowledge because he's a big pussy. Anyway, no one died and the shuttle picked everyone up so its over and I'm $100 richer. It was a good reminder about why I quit in the first place.

As a side note, sorry to Jamandeff for missing them at the Crown. Randy came over to show pictures and tell stories and, well, you know, 9:30 turns into 11 pretty quick so thats how that went.
